About the Author
Randall E. Duran was an adjunct professor at Singapore Management University for over ten years and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). He is currently chairman of Catena Technologies, a Fintech company that he founded, which provides derivatives trade reporting and other Fintech solutions. Randall has started up and grown Fintech companies and has served as the Chief Information Officer of a midsized bank. Over the past twenty-five years, he has worked with financial institutions in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, including retail banks, investment banks, and stock exchanges. Randall has been a member of the American Bankers Association Payments Systems Committee and the Cyber and Information Security Working Group. He serves as an executive and board-level advisor to financial institutions and Fintech companies providing guidance on topics related to financial services innovation, IT strategy, cybersecurity, and operational risk management. He also speaks at conferences and provides press interviews on Fintech topics.
